Cookie policy
The Government of the Canary Islands provides information about the use of cookies on the RedPROMAR portal. Cookies are files that are downloaded to your device when you visit certain web pages and allow, among other things, information about browsing habits to be stored and retrieved.
In accordance with Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), cookies that are not strictly necessary are only installed with your prior consent. The first time you access the site, a notice is shown where you can accept, reject or configure cookies by category. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer or the floating cookie icon.
Consent is managed with RedPROMAR’s own solution (no third-party platforms are used for this) and your choice is stored only in your browser.
Types of cookies by purpose
Necessary (technical) cookies: essential for the site to work (keeping the session, security and remembering your cookie choice). They do not require consent and are always on.
Analytics cookies: allow us to measure and analyse site usage in aggregate through Google Analytics. They are only installed if you give your consent; if you reject them, they are not loaded.

The portal maps use cartographic layers served by external providers (WMS services). These layers do not install cookies on your device.
How to manage or withdraw consent
You can set your preferences from the initial notice or, at any time, from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer or the floating cookie icon. You can also allow, block or delete installed cookies from your browser settings; check your browser’s help to learn how.
